Last November, we launched our first Nexus-exclusive SMITE title, “Exemplar,” achievable to all players who purchase more than $50 of SMITE-related items from their favorite content creator’s Nexus. The support from each creator’s community was tremendous, and the Exemplar title proved itself as a badge of earnest support.
Starting January 24th, SMITE players can earn the latest and greatest title by making purchases from their favorite content creators. This time, purchasing more than $50 on SMITE-related items will earn players the title of “Prefect.”
Becoming a SMITE Prefect does not require that all $50 be spent in a single Nexus storefront. Instead, players can support a variety of Nexus creators while working towards this goal.
The addition of the Prefect title gives creators a stronger call to action and encourages players to continue supporting their favorite content creators. In the future, there may be opportunities for players to earn rewards for supporting creators at even higher levels. We’re excited to see how this new title will impact the Nexus community and proud to partner with Hi-Rez Studios to keep the SMITE content creator community thriving.
