We are excited to announce the release of Nexus’ In-Game Support-a-Creator API, a simple, platform-agnostic way for publishers to add creator support features to their games.

Our straightforward API works with any backend allowing any publisher of a live service game to seamlessly integrate a support-a-creator program for their game and brand. With typically less than 1-day development time, publishers can launch quickly and get back to focusing on their game. Nexus also provides 1-on-1 Development Support to partners to guarantee a successful integration.

From there, Nexus does all the heavy lifting to power the program. We manage the influencer relationships, influencer payments, analytics, attribution, marketing, and much more–so that publishers can worry about the game itself while maintaining program oversight from their own Publisher Dashboard.

A Few of the API Features

Our API integration was built to be flexible so that we can support and grow with any live ops publisher. A few of the many supporting features are:

Flexible Influencer Revenue Share

Easily set and adjust influencer revenue shares to drive awareness and sales that align with your goals. Some examples of how Nexus can structure revenue shares with influencers:

Customizable Influencer Groups

Nexus gives publishers the controls to call the shots on which content creators can join the program — it can be open to anyone to sign up, regardless of size or content — or it can be a closed program where creators either apply or are explicitly invited.

Publishers also have the option to create different groups or tiers of creators, which can come with different perks, such as revenue share upgrades or product availability.

Exclusive Product Releases

Our publisher partners have experienced tremendous success when they’ve launched exclusive content for influencers through Nexus. The release of this type of content drives engagement with both influencers and customers.

The exclusive product could be an item only available when supporting a creator, or it can be an item available to anyone that is built for a specific creator — in the latter case the creator could get a rev share for all purchases, for example, “Get Shroud’s gun buddy”.

Customer Quests

Why not let customers get in on the fun? Reward players and communities for supporting their favorite customers by creating engagement-based quests. These quests can be specific to a creator, an event, or a level of support provided (amount spent and number of items purchased).

Tailored Landing Pages and Onboarding Experiences

If you build it, they will come — but where should you send them to learn more about the program? Publishers can work with our team to create a fully branded landing page detailing entry requirements, revenue shares, perks, and program benefits.

Our team also works with partners to build a custom onboarding experience that collects all of the information needed from each program participant.

Influencer Management & Marketing

Our Creator Partnerships team is available to support each publisher partner with influencer outreach, communication, and management.

Additionally, we support marketing efforts and upcoming promotions via on-site messaging, weekly emails, our blog, Discord, and direct 1:1 influencer communication
